Our partners handle the recruitment and selection of crew members and guide applicants through their application. Nautical Connection puts inland shipping operators in touch with these partners. Applicants apply to the partner concerned and do not enter into employment with Nautical Connection.

International specialist in inland shipping crew

AXXAZ Marine, part of AXXAZ Europe GmbH, combines specialist knowledge of inland shipping with a large international network. For Nautical Connection, AXXAZ is the partner for crew from the Philippines, Indonesia and Sri Lanka, among other countries.

A key strength is selection close to the applicant. For Filipino crew members, AXXAZ works closely with the agency Prime Marine Services in Manila. Selection looks at professional knowledge and experience, but also at motivation, work attitude and fit with life on board.

Specialist in Romanian inland shipping crew

DKM Crewing combines a local presence in Romania with a clear focus on European inland shipping. From Brăila, DKM recruits and selects crew members for vessels sailing in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France and Switzerland, among other countries.

DKM’s strength lies in finding the right place on board, matched to the knowledge and experience of the applicant.

Room to grow

DKM also invests in the development of crew members: since 2025 the company has worked with Dutch educational institutions on training programmes that combine working and learning.
